New Course: Manage Attendance with These Five Tips

About the course

In this course, Matt Bromley walks you through a five step framework for managing attendance.  These simple strategies are easy to grasp and provide the perfect springboard for developing your policies and practice in school in order to reduce absenteeism and lateness.  This course is a great refresher for more experienced staff and a comprehensive introduction for those newer to post.

As well as being useful for individual CPD, this course could also form the basis of group discussions or training and is likely to be of especial interest to governing bodies, boards or trusts.

Sample Module

You can get flavour for the course by watching this sample module.

In this module, we think about the importance of tailoring our approach to understand and meet the needs of the individual.  Only if we are able to understand the causes of an individual pupil’s lateness or absence are we able to put effective interventions in place to improve things.
