Transitions for disadvantaged pupils and pupils with SEND I

Matt says that the emotional and mental effects of transition are amplified for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), as well as disadvantaged and vulnerable pupils.  Accordingly, a school has a duty to help pupils with SEND manage these transitions and reduce the negative impact they can have on pupils’ education and wellbeing.  In this module, Matt offers some tips on how to do just this.
